Vistara teams up with Allianz to provide optional insurance to flight passengers

Indian residents residing in the country. However, it will be soon expanded to other international markets in the second quarter of 2022, including Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Europe. Vistara plans to enhance its array of auxiliary services with this cooperation, ensuring optimum convenience for its consumers.

The optional travel insurance coverage will cover you in a variety of situations, including trip cancellations and related interruptions, substantial travel delays, missing connections, medical requirements while traveling, and luggage concerns and other issues.

Mr Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer at Vistara, expressed delight over the new partnership. He said, “We are pleased to partner with Allianz Partners to offer the option to purchase reliable travel insurance services to our customers. We hope that this service will enable our customers to travel with greater confidence and peace of mind.”

Customers who have purchased insurance will be covered for medical requirements, such as COVID-related diseases, required personal quarantine, and refusal of boarding owing to a suspected sickness. For extra convenience, Allianz Partners also provides customers with a 24-hour travel help hotline and concierge service.

Charu Kaushal, CEO of Allianz Partners India, expressed optimism about the company’s travel insurance products. He said, “Our domestic and international travel insurance products will cover trip inconveniences and medical emergencies, including COVID19. We sincerely hope that these services will provide additional confidence to travel during such uncertain times.”
