Westland Insurance adds new additions to its company

 home, business, agricultural, life, and car insurance, and the clients benefit from the expertise of Westland’s brokers. Westland has been a family-owned firm dedicated to serving its domestic communities since its inception in 1980.

HK Insurance in Regina, Saskatchewan, and Smith Agencies in Melfort, Saskatchewan, have been acquired by Westland Insurance Group Ltd. Both deals came into effect from June 1, 2021. Both Regina and Melfort are new to Westland Insurance, and they help the company achieve its goal of serving additional areas across Canada.

Smith Agencies was founded in 1976 and is situated directly on Main Street in Melfort, with nine new team members. HK Insurance was founded in 2001 and is situated in the Glencairn Shopping Centre in Regina, with 14 new team members. The Westland family is thrilled to have them as part of their business.

Both firms specialize in auto, home, commercial, agricultural, and speciality insurance schemes. Westland Insurance will hire a total of 23 staff in Saskatchewan as a result of these acquisitions. Westland presently runs over 170 stores across Canada in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. Visit westlandinsurance.ca for further details.
