Additionally, in the recently unveiled manifesto, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior BJP leaders articulated pledges to generate high-value employment opportunities not only in major urban hubs but also in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, leveraging tourism to boost local entrepreneurship and job creation. Furthermore, the manifesto also underscores initiatives to augment the presence of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), Global Tech Centres (GTCs), and Global Engineering Centres (GECs), positioning India as a prominent global destination and enhancing housing affordability, thereby benefiting the middle class significantly.

Acknowledging the financial burden on middle-class families stemming from the high cost of medical treatment for senior citizens, especially those aged 70 and above, coupled with the challenges in obtaining insurance coverage for them, the BJP underscored its commitment to include them under the ‘Ayushman Bharat‘ health coverage scheme, providing relief up to Rs 5 lakh for healthcare expenses, regardless of their family income.

The BJP’s commitment to bolster investments in agricultural storage facilities aims not only to ensure fair prices for farmers but also to stabilize and make food prices more predictable for the middle class. Additionally, the manifesto outlines India’s envisioned foreign policy initiatives aimed at projecting the country’s values and ideas globally, a move that resonates strongly with the middle class, who are poised to play a pivotal role as ambassadors in shaping India’s global narrative.
