Ever since the beginning of Marvel Phase 4, fans have been indecisive about how they feel about the series and movies that have been released. Whilst shows like Loki have gained immediate popularity, some have only merely fared well. Either way, there is nothing that has been deemed spectacular, which is an adjective too mild to describe Marvel otherwise.
The first episode of She-Hulk premiered on the 18th of August 2022 and since then, fans have been over the moon with delight. The comic aspect has had fans crowding in front of the TV with imminent excitement at what is yet to unveil through the course of the show. The show will consist of 9 episodes and will conclude on the 13th of October 2022.
Tatiana Maslany who plays Jennifer Walters in the titular She-Hulk explains that Jen Walters views the world in a very different perspective in comparison to She-Hulk. People have noted this difference in characters. In light of this, she further stated, “I think people receive Jen very differently when she’s She-Hulk than they do Jen Walters,” Maslany explained. “And that’s something that Jen, I think feeds off of in a way that she does get, you know, a little hit of confidence. It’s fun to be looked at like that. But then at the same time, I feel like she also has a fraudulent sort of feeling around it. Or she doesn’t totally feel like she can own that and that people might not be looking at her, but looking at just She-Hulk.”
The persona of a lawyer, which is the core of Jen’s character, coupled with her hesitancy of undergoing the training montage for She-Hulk and the return of Mark Ruffalo as Hulk are definitely key points in the show, providing aspects for people to look forward to in the future episodes.
