Families consisting of couples with two children can anticipate an additional financial boost of up to $467 through the grocery rebate. Single individuals without children can expect an average supplementary amount of $234, while seniors can receive an extra $225 on average. Although Canada’s inflation rate moderated to 3.4 percent in May, grocery prices have continued to surge rapidly, experiencing a staggering nine percent increase compared to the previous year.
