UK (Commonwealth Union)_ Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have marked their 15th wedding anniversary by releasing a warm family photograph taken during a recent holiday in Cornwall. The previously unseen image shows the couple relaxed and smiling as they lie on the grass with their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—enjoying the spring sunshine. The picture, shared on Kensington Palace’s social media accounts, was accompanied by a simple message: “Celebrating 15 years of marriage,” along with a red heart. The informal setting reflects a candid family moment, with the children barefoot and gathered close to their parents during the Easter break.

In the photo, young Louis rests his legs across his mother, while Catherine is notably the only one not dressed in shorts. The family’s black cocker spaniel, Orla, sits beside William, along with another brown spaniel, one of Orla’s puppies that the couple decided to keep. The name of the second dog has not yet been made public. William had previously been pictured with the litter, appearing particularly fond of one of the brown puppies in a birthday post shared last year. The anniversary comes during a busy period for the royal family, as King Charles III continues an official visit to the United States, where he recently addressed Congress with a light-hearted speech.

Just days earlier, the Prince and Princess also celebrated Prince Louis’s eighth birthday by releasing another cheerful image of him aboard a boat in Cornwall. In that photograph, Louis is seen smiling broadly, leaning against a metal railing in a casual blue jumper. The caption read: “Happy birthday, Louis! 8 today!” These family moments come after a challenging period, following Catherine’s cancer diagnosis in 2024. She later confirmed she is now in remission. The couple have since taken steps toward a fresh start, including relocating to a new home in Windsor Great Park.

Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, first met while studying at the University of St Andrews. Their relationship grew from friendship into romance, leading to their engagement in 2010. They were married on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony watched around the world. For the wedding, Catherine wore a gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, paired with the Cartier Halo Tiara. William appeared in a military uniform. Following their marriage, they became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and later assumed their current titles after King Charles’s accession.
