AFRICA ( Commonwealth Union) _ In South Africa, the biggest rhino conservation farm in the world will be auctioned off.

According to owner John Humes, I have been spending money on this population of rhinos for thirty years and I have finally run out of money. The conclusion of a sale will determine the rhinos’ destiny in South Africa’s north-western province. We have a very solid track record of breeding and conservation, so someone could keep doing this and just spread it to more rhinos. Someone could easily accomplish that.

Hume, a gruff and opinionated man, remarked, I’m hoping there is a billionaire who would rather save the population of rhinos from extinction than own a superyacht. Perhaps someone for whom $5 million a year is pocket change.

In order to conserve the second-largest land mammal in the world, Hume claimed to have invested some $150 million over the years. In a Zoom interview, the elderly man with glasses and a checked shirt stated, From a rhino point of view, it was definitely worth it. Compared to when I began the project, there are a lot more rhinos on Earth.
