India (Commonwealth Union)_ The Andaman and Nicobar Islands created history by setting a new Guinness World Record for unfurling the largest national flag under water. The magnificent achievement was made at Radhanagar Beach on Swaraj Dweep, one of the most beautiful coastal places in India and among the best in Asia. Accordingly, the Indian tricolour measuring around 60 by 40 metres was unfurled under the sea in a well-coordinated exercise. The exercise involved multiple agencies, trained divers and meticulous planning to ensure that the flag was placed correctly underwater. Officials described the task as both technically demanding and logistically complex.
