Apollo Hospitals launches a mission to support at-home COVID patients

Chennai, India (CU)_ Apollo Hospitals recently launched the mission ‘Advanced COVID Care Beyond Hospitals’, to support the COVID-positive patients with the finest medical care possible while they remain quarantined at home, easing the strain on hospitals and the healthcare system. COVID patients undergoing treatment at home can consult COVID professionals through phone, who will provide proper assistance, medications, and advice to be followed by the patients. 

Constant monitoring by health care specialists and video chats with ICU doctors allow for on-time identification of symptoms and the initiation of the appropriate therapeutic steps at the right moment. If difficulties arise necessitating the use of oxygen and hospitalization, it can also be arranged quickly. The ‘Apollo Doc On Call’ program, which has provided patients with care outside of hospitals for the past four years, will assist the critical care specialists.
