The Unemployment Insurance Fund begins a service delivery drive in North West

Cape Town, South Africa (CU)_ From August 2021, the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) of the Department of Employment and Labour in the North West will commence its service delivery initiative, which is targeted at decreasing the long queues at Labour Centres and reaching out to locations that are remote from these centers.

Following the procurement of eight UIF Buses, which were launched in June by the Minister of Employment and Labour, this service delivery initiative began and have subsequently been delivered to several provinces. These buses will be utilized by the Department to provide important services. They have a server facility that will enable them to operate and provide all departmental services from any location in the province.
