(CU)_The African continent is home to a vast area of degraded forest landscapes, which intensify the effects of the climate crisis and obstruct the development of economically resilient communities in the region. Many experts have called for stronger efforts to harness the full potential of the continent’s landscapes, through sustainable production and the protection of biodiversity, among others.
