KENYA – Kenya last year was hailed for passing a law giving the half million refugees in the country better access to education and employment ahead of plans to shut refugee camps by the end of June. While some refugees in Kenya are reaping the benefits of the law, many face challenges.

There are refugees that are suffering all over Kenya. Lawyers have been fighting day and night to help them get some kind of employment rights as they need to work to make a life for themselves. These refugees have been in the outskirts of Kenya

These people are barely surviving in these living conditions and need to start work ASAP if they are to make any kind of money to live. The refugees are from war torn areas all over Africa and although they are used to hardship they need not suffer more.

The Kenyan government has been trying their hardest to get some form of employment rights going on for the refugees so that they can have some kind of normalcy. There are lawyers working around the clock so that they can help these refugees to sort of get on their feet.

It came about last year that the refugees had been granted employment rights this can only mean that the refugees finally can make lives in the state and begin to rebuild what they have lost.
