AUSTRALIA (Commonwealth Union) – In every university there is education and culture. Universities want their students to receive a fulfilling and rounded education and experience before leaving and becoming a part of the working community.
The La Trobe University is known to have a wide array of foreign language classes. They are quite popular among students as their classes are always full. These classes are there to encourage students to learn new things and explore things such as foreign culture, travel and maybe even work in a foreign country. It opens up a lot of doors for the students in the University.
However, this time we see that the Greek language studies is celebrating a mile stone at the University, which is that it has been a part of the university curriculum for 40 years! This is a huge deal! The appears to be popular amongst students and is always full. The University states that it has also helped students to see beyond just where they live.
The La Trobe University is planning a celebration that would possibly last a whole weekend and it is an open invitation. Everyone can come, since it will not be limited to just students and their families. The festival will be centered around all things Greek. There will be booths for further information about the classes. There will be food stalls, games and other various things.
The University is so dedicated that if there is to be rain on the day then the whole event will be moved inside so that everyone coming to enjoy the day still can. This has been an event that has been planned for the last couple of months, purely for this celebration. The University is excited to share this success with everyone.
