Chris Aryan, the founder, chairman and president of IAVO, greeted the attendees and delivered a brief speech about the group. He noted that the organization was not supported by the federal government or Congress. According to him, the 501-c-3 nonprofit organization relies on contributions. Aryan is a veteran of both the Air Force and the Army of the United States Armed Forces. In his remarks, Consul General Ghosh lauded Aryan for establishing IAVO, noting that it will further enhance India-USA ties, given that Indian-Americans have served and will continue to serve in the US Armed Forces. He also pledged his complete support to further enhance IAVO’s objectives and causes.

Other performances included Harvest Moon Ball by Peter Minkov & Partner; North Shore Dance Society of Glencoe by Aleksandr Bonev & Partner; as well as performances by Paul Garbarz and Kristi Frank.
