Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam mark four decades of diplomatic relations

Pakistan (Commonwealth Union)_ Commemorating the 40th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam observed a significant milestone through a virtual Bilateral Consultation and Cooperation (BCC) meeting. This event served as a strong representation of the profound connection shared between the two nations, underscoring the paramount importance both countries attribute to their mutual relationship. Conducted at the level of Foreign Secretary/Permanent Secretary, the BCC meeting was co-chaired by Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, the Foreign Secretary from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Pengiran Norhashimah binti Pengiran Mohd Hassan, the Permanent Secretary (Politics and International Organizations) from Brunei Darussalam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The high-ranking representation emphasized the gravity of the occasion and the dedication both nations exhibit toward fortifying their ties.
