AXIS Insurance and Elpha Secure announce partnership to provide cyber insurance and software protection to small businesses

London, United Kingdom (CU)_ AXIS Insurance partnered with Elpha Secure to support small businesses strengthen their cyber security by providing cyber insurance and software protection. Elpha Secure provides the service named Elphaware, which is a ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) platform that helps users defend their software against popular cyber threats. Elphaware offers the cyber security tools and protection services that are needed in today’s industry to small and micro businesses.

Dan Trueman, Global Head of Cyber and Technology at AXIS Insurance, said, “Today’s small businesses have a need for efficient, effective solutions to manage their cyber risks. Cyber risk mitigation requires sound insurance solutions balanced with resolute cyber security for the resiliency of small businesses and for long-term stability. The Elpha Secure team are innovators, having brought critical cyber risk mitigation solutions to small enterprises and micro-sized businesses.”

Elphaware offers a single, easy to install cyber security suite for small businesses which works along with the current security tools. Backups of sensitive data that are reliable and encrypted, remote access with multi-factor authentication, ability to recover harmed structures in a matter of hours, establishment of a Virtual Private Network (VPN), and identification of insider risks and anomalies are the five key features of the Elphaware software.

Elphaware defends users from social engineering and malware attacks like ransomware, and helps small businesses to recover rapidly in case of a breach. Preetam Dutta, Chief Executive Officer at Elpha Secure, expressed glad over the new partnership. He said, “The entire Elpha Secure team is excited to work with AXIS.
