Wang said that is of great significance for China and Pakistan to maintain the dialogue as “ironclad” friends, whose partnership has stood the test, while retaining momentum in its development despite the various challenges faced, particularly in the case of the pandemic.

He stressed that China will stand by Pakistan with a friendly policy, irrespective of what challenges the countries would face off in the future.

Qureshi added that China is the regional anchor of peace and stability, and the progress made by the two countries over 2020 was encouraging, and maintained that Pakistan will also stand with China irrespective of the changes in global and regional circumstances, and that it is committed to developing the partnership.
