Deepika Padukone couldn’t escape COVID 19…

 tested positive for COVID-19. Following her family, Deepika too tested positive today. Deepika and Ranveer were photographed at the Mumbai airport a few weeks ago on their way to Bengaluru to visit her family.

A family friend named Vimal Kumar told the media: “Around 10 days back, Prakash [Padukone], his wife and second daughter, they developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out be positive. He [Prakash Padukone] is okay now. All his parameters are fine, his wife and daughter are at home and he too will be hopefully in discharged in two to three days.”

Deepika is currently working in a number of high-profile projects which are yet to be released this year. She will star alongside husband Ranveer Singh in the film 83, which tells the story of India’s first cricket World Cup victory in 1983. Deepika plays Kapil Dev’s wife Romi, while Ranveer plays the lead role of captain Kapil Dev.

Deepika also plays lead roles in Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas’ untitled film, and Shakun Batra’s untitled film starring Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Deepika also stars alongside Big B in the Hollywood remake of The Intern, and also costars Hrithik Roshan in Fighter. In addition, the actress has also begun filming for Pathan, where she will costar Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
