Getting ready for Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant, the Ambani family is up to something special. They’re building 14 lovely temples in a big complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The temple complex, with its beautifully carved pillars, colorful sculptures of different gods, and lively paintings in fresco style, feels incredibly grand and timeless. It reflects architectural styles that have been passed down for generations, making it a powerful symbol of artistic skill and cultural heritage.
The temples have been crafted by master sculptors working closely with local artisans, using traditional techniques that highlight the unmatched skill and dedication of India’s craftsmen. Nita Ambani, the Founder & Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, has been a driving force behind this project, stressing the significance of preserving and honoring India’s rich heritage.
Nita Ambani recently paid a personal visit to the temple complex to check on the progress and interact with the artisans and devotees involved. Their combined efforts have not only beautified the surroundings but also added to the sacredness of the wedding celebrations.
Scheduled from March 1 to 3, the pre-wedding celebrations promise an elegant fusion of culture and entertainment. Guests will arrive in Jamnagar via chartered flights from Mumbai or Delhi for the three-day event. Notable personalities from the global business arena, such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Disney CEO Bob Iger, are expected to attend, along with prominent figures from India’s business and entertainment industries.
The festivities will include themed evenings, inviting guests to immerse themselves in unique ambiances. From the sophistication of “An Evening in Everland” to the adventurous spirit of “A Walk on the Wildside,” attendees are encouraged to embrace each theme through their attire.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s journey towards marriage started with their roka ceremony in December 2022 at the Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan. This was followed by their engagement ceremony in January 2023 at Antilia, the iconic Ambani residence in Mumbai.
