Police search for three men allegedly involved in Stuart MacGill’s kidnapping

It hast been easy for the detectives of Sydney these days as they are now hunting down the men that are believed to be involved the kidnapping and assault of the former Australian cricketer Stuart MacGill. The police have now released the CCTV footage that shows two of the men entering a Bunnings just a few hours before MacGill was supposedly abducted and assaulted at gunpoint.

Andrew Koutsoufis who is the Detective Superintendent alleged the men bought items that police believe were used during the incident to “intimidate” MacGill. He then later quoted that “We are very keen to identify and locate those two males.” The police have also given an image of a third man involved and is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged 25-35, of solid build, with short dark colored thinning hair and a brown and red colored beard.

The cricketer says he was abducted and attacked abducted, assaulted and threatened by a group of men. MacGill stated that he had nothing to do with this abduction and because of the trauma he had suffered he had waited five days in fear before coming to the police. “I know that I have done nothing wrong, Maria has done nothing wrong,” MacGill said.

The first man depicted in the CCTV released by police is of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged between 20 and 25, about 180cm-190cm tall, with a solid build, brown eyes, dark shaved hair in a ponytail and a tattoo on his right hand. The second man is described as being Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged between 20 and 25, about 175cm-185cm tall, with a solid build, brown eyes, short dark hair and stubble.
