Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Shah Rukh Khan, the celebrated actor, turned 58 this year. As a custom, he made an appearance at midnight to thank his fans who assembled outside his Mumbai abode, Mannat, in celebration of his 58th birthday. Donning a black T-shirt, sunglasses, and a matching cap, Khan waved and interacted with the multitude of admirers from the boundary wall of his residence. His annual tradition of greeting fans on his birthdays remained intact, amidst reports of plans for a birthday party with his close colleagues within the industry.

The year 2023 has proven to be a significant one for Shah Rukh Khan, marked by the success of two major film releases following a five-year hiatus. He commenced the year with a bang through “Pathaan” and later achieved yet another milestone in his illustrious career with the resounding success of “Jawan.” Considering the sizable assembly outside Mannat, stringent security measures were implemented with a significant police presence to manage the enthusiastic crowd. Among the fans, some displayed posters paying tribute to the star, while others marked the occasion with fireworks in honor of Khan’s 58th birthday.

Following his midnight interaction with fans at Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan expressed gratitude in a post on the microblogging platform X, humbled by the overwhelming late-night well-wishes. He reflected, “It’s unbelievable that so many of you come and wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier than the fact that I can entertain you a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank you for allowing me to entertain you all.” Concluding his message with a hint, Khan intriguingly wrote, “See you in the morning…on the screen & off it,” potentially alluding to the imminent teaser release of his upcoming film “Dunki,” helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, slated for release in December 2023.
Simultaneously, reports suggest that Khan is set to host an extravagant birthday celebration at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Organized by his longstanding manager, Pooja Dadlani, invitees have purportedly been instructed not to bring any gifts for the esteemed actor, underscoring the anticipated star-studded affair. In terms of work, SRK last appeared in Jawan and Pathaan this year, and his upcoming project is Dunki.
