(Commonwealth) _ Most of us may benefit from some pointers on how to save a few minutes (or even hours) at work, and this is especially true if you work in the frenetic world of maritime recruiting. With so many balls to juggle and plates to spin, it can be difficult to fit all you need to complete into a typical working day.

When it comes to seeking seafarers to fill your openings, organizing interviews, verifying paperwork to ensure they are all present, and locating qualified applicants in time to meet change over dates, your to-do list is frequently extensive and daunting. With that in mind, we thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of suggestions.

Not all of these suggestions will apply to you and your individual circumstances in maritime recruiting, but at least a few of them should help you save time here and there to make your day go a little more smoothly.

When you have so many things to get through each day, it might be tempting to jump straight into your job the minute you step through the door of the office.

But fact, this is a mistake.
