England (Commonwealth Union)_ The Women in Investment Awards 2022 winners were honored at a special ceremony in London by Investment Week in collaboration with Amundi ETF. In their sixth year, these awards still play a significant part in accelerating the pace of change toward a more inclusive and diverse investment industry.

The comedians Lucy Porter and Emmanuel Sonubi hosted a ceremony at The Brewery in London on November 23 where the winners were presented with their prizes. As a grassroots federation working to provide life-saving services in England and create a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated, Women’s Aid is a charity that Investment Week was happy to support on the evening.

Making the finalist list was a real accomplishment because Investment Week received an incredible amount of nominations for this year’s awards, setting a record. Each of the nominees was required to complete a questionnaire outlining their professional histories, accomplishments, and social impact. The finalists and winners were then chosen by our judging panel, which was comprised of members from various sectors of the investment industry. The Investment Industry Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year and Diversity & Inclusion Champion of the Year were two new categories for which entries were specifically encouraged this year.

Reboot became the first winner of the Investment Industry Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year while the judges awarded the winner’s trophy in a closely contested category. They claimed that this initiative has had an outstanding impact in a short period of time. Its creators have been creative in their approach to changing the world by serving as role models and using the media to spread the message.

The awards, now in their sixth year, highlight and recognize pioneering women in the financial business. They play an important role in hastening the transition to a more diverse and inclusive investing business.
