WASHINGTON DC (CWBN)_ The FBI is investigating Trump supporters’ confrontation with a Biden campaign bus last week, an FBI spokesperson announced yesterday (Nov 1).

The incident took place last Friday (Oct 30), when the Biden campaign bus was traveling from San Antonio to Austin, nearly 100 vehicles with flags and Trump paraphernalia blocked the entire Biden entourage, in an attempt to try to stop the bus in the middle of the highway and run it off the road.

Staffers on the bus had called 911, and subsequently local law enforcement led the bus to its destination.

Even though no one was hurt, the incident prompted the Biden campaign to cancel at least two of its events in Texas.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump appeared to approve, if not embrace the actions of his supporters as he tweeted a video of the incident on Saturday, with the caption, “I LOVE TEXAS!” The President claimed that his supporters were “protecting” the bus, because they’re “nice”.

Neither Biden nor his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, were on the bus.

“FBI San Antonio is aware of the incident and investigating,” FBI spokesperson Michelle Lee said yesterday.

Meanwhile, President Trump insists that the FBI should stop investigating the relevant incident and should investigate on “terrorists, anarchists, and agitators of ANTIFA, who run around burning down our Democrat run cities and hurting our people” instead.

On Sunday night, Trump retweeted a screenshot of the FBI announcement, adding “In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong”.

The President’s comments come amidst tensions between Trump and FBI Director Christopher Wray, as the President pressed the Justice Department and FBI to act against his rivals, including Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden himself.

Meanwhile, last evening, Biden told reporters in Texas “We’ve never had anything like this… At least we’ve never had a president who thinks it’s a good thing”.
