In a brand new venture, Canadian based Exodus Travels has linked up with African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) to set up a portfolio of programs that will highlight on concerns such as Gorilla Conservation in Uganda, the elephant conservation in Zimbabwe and many others. “During these times, supporting like-minded organizations such as the African Wildlife Foundation is more important than ever before,” said Exodus Travels Marketing Director Robin Brooks “We are honored to join forces with such an incredible group of people and their efforts through this partnership; and as with all Exodus adventures across the globe are dedicated to ensuring tourism dollars are used responsibly to support regenerative and sustainable initiatives and organizations that benefit destinations and the communities within.”
This has of course come about to help countries to bring back money into the economy in travel bubbles and also to help the tourism industry raise its head due to this pandemic that has disabled the entire world.
With this new venture what we can see is that there will be new parts opened for people partaking in the programme and the itineraries will be curated in respect to what the groups of people would prefer to see. Because these itineraries can be curated there will be a few options to choose from so that everyone has something they can enjoy.
Itineraries, which will be led by ATW conservationists, include Extraordinary Ethiopia: Highlands and Beyond; Namibia Flying Safari Uganda: Great Apes & Wild Savannas; and Zimbabwe, the Wild Zambezi & Victoria Falls.
The two companies with have to offer complimentary virtual Ugandan Safaris on 25 march at 1.00 p.m. Eastern Time on the Exodus Travels Face Book.
Founded in 1961, the AWF’s mission is on advocacy for the protection of Africa’s wildlife and wild-lands.
Departures will commence in September 2021and operate through 2022.
