INDONESIA (Commonwealth Union) – When it comes to fashion weeks, times doesn’t work the way normal people expect. For example, we see that Jakarta has already had their fashion week for 2023. The year 2023 hasn’t even dawned yet but Jakarta has already had its fashion week in the future.

Now the whole point of this was to show that the past can also be present in the future as most of the designers that took part in the fashion week brought back to life the ancient years with their designs.

The fashion show was not meant to be remembered as being in the present. The pieces created were from history and future. The designers really did push the theme which was ‘Kingdom’. All the models looked like they were futuristic models but dressed from the days of old. It really was a mesmerizing show and the patrons loved it.

The photographers had a field day and went on to joke that they were probably the first in the industry in Jakarta to see something as cool and unique as this. They were not too far from the truth. As of late, it has been noticed that Indonesian designers have been pushing the fashion envelop a little and the most amazing things are coming out of the risks they have been taking.

The fashion world is being take by storm by a few Asian countries. In the past, the Asian fashion game was mostly dominated by China, Japan and Korea. However, since a new generation of designers are coming up this could change.

This could be the fresh look that the industry was looking for. Since fashion is a fast-changing industry the designers don’t have any kind of timeline to work with. They just need to let all their creativity flow from them and create something beautiful.
