In response to the continuing Russian military incursion in Ukraine, Pakistan sent a shipment of 7.5 tons of humanitarian aid to assist the Ukrainian people. The consignment included the essential non-military items, medicines and food supply. The C-130 aircraft departed to Ukraine to deliver the shipment in order to assist the war-ravaged nation. The media reported that a shipment carrying medicines, medical equipment, beds, and food supplies was sent immediately through a C-130 aircraft following the request of the war-hit country.

Earlier, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs had considered providing Ukraine with humanitarian aid. According to the media, the ministry instructed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to deliver the concerned non-military support sought by the Ukrainian embassy and organize its shipment. It had also sent a formal report to the prime minister requesting to deliver the assistance to Ukraine earlier.
